Advisory Members


Rev. Muthengi Michael. He graduated from Egerton University and went into community conservation and hotelier business. Through this he served through business as a mission. He later joined CITAM Valley Road as a mission pastor, serving a stint in the first mission department of Nairobi Chapel. After his M Div. Mission Studies at NIST he would serve as founding director of CITAM missions. He oversaw significant growth from the Samburu Pentecostal Churches, the northern Kenya field, church planting and mission outposts in East Timor. He was senior pastor at CITAM Buruburu for five years before moving to his new station. He currently is the lead pastor at Nairobi Chapel Imara and Head of Mission and Church planting. He oversees a massive work of missionaries and viral church planting.



Dr Mugo Godwin MB.ChB.

Born at Runyenjes, Embu, he schooled at Kangaru School then joined the University of Nairobi to pursue Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery. He is the HIV/AIDS Technical Advisor at Christian Health Association of Kenya (CHAK) and a former Medical Superintendent at St Luke’s hospital, Kilifi with AidsRelief Services. He worked previously at Kakamega PGH, Bungoma DH, Consolata Hospital at Thika and Kikuyu Mission Hospital. He is married to Joyce Wegoki and are blessed with 2 children. He is an active member of living stones churches where he has been a pastor and the national youth ministry director. He now runs his branch at Nairobi CBD; The Redemption Sanctuary City Centre. He served as a chair of the Medical School CU, a pioneer church planter and was the founder of Medical School leaders training program. He is a graduate of EQUIP’s MLM program.

The Executive Director

Dr Jeff Mailu Orthopedic Surgeon, CPA-K, CPS-K, husband and father of 2 sons. Known to some as a ‘Pioneer missionary doctor’ Jeff schooled at Alliance High School, joined Strathmore University where he attained CPA (K). He holds CPS (K) and is a member of ICPSK. He graduated with Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from University of Nairobi, interned at Nakuru PGH and was a Surgery Resident at Tenwek Hospital. He worked as orthopedic surgeon at Cure International Kijabe for 8 years.

He is a Member of the College of Surgeons (ECSA). He was the Evangelism Secretary at Medical school and has served in varied capacities including as Regional Associates Secretary with FOCUS and as patron of POSTA Fellowship. He is an active member of CVT-RGC. He holds MA in Missiology from AIU. An on-the-job trained minister he served as a mission’s coordinator of various ministries and pioneered missions to unreached peoples. For a number of years He has served as Missions Pastor with CITAM. Currently he serves as Missions Pastor with Nairobi Chapel Imara. He too is the visionary Executive Director of MeMA and is coordinating its daily activities.

The Treasurer.

Abel Nyongesa Engineer, Banker at SMEP BANK, Husband and Father. Born again Christian with a long experience in Christian ministry, both in mission work and pulpit ministry. Was raised up under Redeemed Gospel Church where he was involved in Youth Ministry, Ushering and Outreach teams to organize and coordinate mission work. Currently at CITAM Ngong. Has equally led teams in church and in work place for a long period of time. In addition, He is experienced in training and leadership development for which he mentors and coaches teams in church, work place and in missions. Has gone through trainings and workshops in Leadership from Frankfurt School of Management and Million Leader Mandate-John Maxwell Foundation

He graduated in Bsc. Agricultural Engineering from the University of Nairobi and hold a diploma in Project Management from Kenya Institute of Management. Moreover, has accounting knowledge with CPA 1 and ICT skills. Over time. He is an expert in business process reengineering and risk management where he has worked closely with Micro save, Techco, J M Mantle Process Experts, KIM, Certified Fraud Examiners and Peak Performance.

He too is a career banker, where he started my career in technical field doing technical sales and ICT works then joined Faulu Microfinance Bank doing Operations, Controls, Training and coaching, Projects, Process reengineering, Risk Management and later at SMEP Microfinance Bank where he currently serves.

Other Directors

Karuku Harun Wang’ombe has vast experience in mission to the unreached. He has served as a leader and missionary with Sheepfold after his Bachelor’s degree at Upper Kabete,University of Nairobi. He later studied missiology at AIU. For several years he served as the Northern Kenya field director for CITAM missions. Ann Mbugua, Lecturer at St. Paul’s University (Social Work), Wife and Mother. Born in Mbeere –Kiambere, holds a BA in Social Work from University of Nairobi and MA from St. Paul’s University. She has worked with FWCC in Nakuru. She has been a pioneer missionary and served as the leader of Mission Committee MCCU (UON) and as the Chair of Focus Associates (Nakuru). She was the chair of MKEET and has vast experience in missions. She is the founding Executive Director for Center For Livelihood Advancement, a renown social agency working with female domestic workers in Kenya.

Edith Wathira Gicheha – Maternal and Newborn Health Implementation Scientist working with Newborn Essential Solutions and Technologies (NEST) in KEMRI WELLCOME TRUST RESEARCH PROGRAM. She has a passion in taking care of families during and after pregnancy. She is also passionate about finding and using simple solutions to promote health of families and communities. She believes in using ones skills to share the love of Christ.


MWANGI, Geoffrey Chege- Born in Subukia Nakuru, he schooled at Kieni High School. He then joined Moi University to pursue MBCHB. He interned at Kijabe Mission Hospital and wasthe Medical superintendent at Kirwara Sub-District hospital. Currently he is an Orthopaedic Surgeon at Kijabe Mission hospital. He has vast experience in Christian Ministry Leadership.  He served for 3 years in Missions committee of TCCU, two has its Chair and has been assistant pastor in FGC of where he is still a member. He has also been at CMF – Kenya Leadership.

Njagi Mauki Jacob.  A Biblical translator with BTL. He has been the lead person in Bible translation project in Tana River as well as community development. He is the founding director of Oasis Community Network. He holds a BA from Kenyatta University and MA Translation Studies from AIU.
